Melrose Place comes back with a bisexual woman

Although we love to complain, there are quite a lot of lesbian characters on TV right now. Melrose Place premiered  in 1992 and the poor gay guy did not have one believable line or kiss (Hello? Gay, and handsome in LA and doesn’t get some action?). The revisited version of the show, which premieres next September, will have a bisexual woman named Ella. Played by Katie Cassidy, she will portray the most typical femme fatale, who will have affairs with almost anybody, including women.

The series will have a very unique (ejem) plot twist: the story starts with a mysterious murder, and details will be revealed during the season. Melrose Place 2.0 premieres September 8th on channel CW.
