Almódovar could not have come with a more surreal story. The always fascinating british tabloid The Daily Mail informed today that Gary Stewart, 37, a gay man from Manchester, UK, tried to poison his lesbian neighbours by putting slug pellets into their curry after he was accused of kidnapping their three-legged cat.

Stewart is even alleged to have kidnapped the family’s three-legged cat, Amber, and dumped her in a village miles away.
