Ana is the one half of the new lesbian couple in Spanish TV  show, the telenovela “Amar en tiempos revueltos’. Ana, who is portrayed by the actress Marina San José, the daughter of singers Ana Belén and Victor Manuel, will be dealing with her flourishing sexuality under Franco’s dictatorship.

Until now, the character of Anna was a bit femme fatale for its time, the early 50’s in Spain, but it seems that the screenwriters have realized that the fact that a woman will lie her eyes on another one is somethin that has happened since the beginning. It was not a perversion that came with democracy but rather the previous 40 years were hell for god knows how many millions of women.

Let us see what will happen with the plot of Ana and Teresa, although after what happened in Los hombres de Paco we believe this can mean  the beginning of the end of one of the characters. In the meantime, we will be followging the novela. For now, we are impressed hof how long it took for the elevator in the 50’s to go up five floors…
